About Camp

We strive to create a community from which young people derive a greater sense of self-esteem & an enhanced pride in their Jewish identity. Spending time with friends, cabin-mates and counselors & learning about our rich heritage give our campers an experience they will never forget. Even more than a community, Camp Stein is a family.

Inspiring Jewish Exploration

At Camp Daisy and Harry Stein, campers are immersed in a Jewish environment with peers. Here, seeds are planted and roots strengthened for lifelong Jewish learning. The moment their camp experiences begin, campers and staff know that they are forever a part of something bigger.

Under the direction of Congregation Beth Israel’s Rabbi Stephen Kahn, and with input from clergy throughout the region, we work year-round to develop cutting-edge curricula, focused on active participation. We aim to provide everyone at Camp Stein with memorable moments and a true sense of connection to Judaism. Through our Judaic programming the four walls of the classroom disappear and are replaced with creative, hands-on learning that is never average and always fun! Every Shabbat, our majestic outdoor chapel provides the ideal backdrop for spiritual exploration unique to the Camp Stein experience.

Connect, learn, grow… be a part of something bigger.

A message from our Senior Rabbi, Rabbi Stephen Kahn

We can’t wait for another summer at Camp Daisy and Harry Stein!

During their time at Camp Stein your child will experience a community unlike any other. Camp Stein will help your children develop positive Jewish identities & enable them to create lifelong friendships with Jewish children from throughout the Southwest.

Many of our staff members were once campers themselves at Camp Stein. We view our role in caring for your children as a sacred task in facilitating one of life’s most precious experiences we create each summer.

Here’s to a great summer of fun and friendship!
