Health Center

Our Health Center is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, while campers are at camp. We have a minimum of two nurses or EMTs on site at any given time, and have a pediatrician on-call to camp community throughout the summer.

All camper and staff medications are safely stored in our Health Center, and our medical team dispenses medication a set times throughout the day based on the community needs.

Our medical team is also available to treat campers with a variety of needs – from a small scrape to illnesses, our medical team supports the needs of our community.

Community Care

Our Community Care Team is comprised of two to four individuals who support our campers and counselors during their summer sessions. The team is made up of teachers, mental health professionals, clergy, and is led by Rabbi Sara Mason-Barkin.

Security

Camp Stein maintains a security presence throughout the day and night while campers are in residence on property. We have a strong relationship with local law-enforcement Our front gate remains closed at all times unless opened by a camp administrator or a security guard. Guests must be greeted and are only allowed on camp if expected.

Our security team is also aware of possible wildlife and other environmental considerations in our area, given that we are located adjacent to the Prescott National Forest. We maintain an awareness of wildlife and wildfires in the area when necessary, and are in regular communication with professionals who monitor sightings and movement.
