Overview
Camp Daisy and Harry Stein, owned and operated by Congregation Beth Israel in Scottsdale, is a unique and exciting place. A Jewish overnight summer camp nestled in the majestic Bradshaw Forest of Prescott, Arizona, it is a place where campers discover more about themselves, their abilities, & their Judaism. A summer of fun, a lifetime of memories!
We are seeking and enthusiastic individual to oversee and run our Dance program. This includes planning and implementation of all music activities for all age groups during cabin hours, and elective periods.

- Camp Director
- Assistant Camp Director

- Unit Head
Position Responsibilities
- Planning and implementation of the Drama program for all age groups during cabin activities and elective periods
- Orientation and education of Staff and Campers to Dance area equipment, procedures, rules and
- Communication with Health Center regarding campers with special physical needs or problems, with regards to your area and observance of those
- Lead/Assist in leading Israeli Dancing on Friday night after
- Preparation and maintenance of Music areas – Physically and programmatically. Make sure that the elements and supply storage areas are kept clean and organized and that all supplies are accounted
- Maintain record of camper’s
- Allow the campers the opportunity to develop new skills and
- The requisitioning of needed supplies and equipment, as well as maintenance and inventory of all equipment and
- When done implementing dance programming and maintaining area, should be with assigned
- Evaluate in writing, the dance Program, Camp Program, Staff, and
- Abide by and enforce all camp
- Walk shmira (OD), supervise cabins at night as assigned
Position Requirements
- Entering College Freshman or 18 years of age
- Experience significant for camping
- Previous experience in specialty area, comparable to conditions present at Camp Stein.
- The ability to live in a cabin, oversee campers and work with co-counselors.
- The ability to handle stressful
- Ability to have open communication with director supervisors about issues that may arise with campers and/or dance program
