Kadimah spent an awesome time on their overnight in Sedona, Arizona! We arrived on the campsite a little before dinner and ventured off on a hike along the stream. We got to see amazing views and take a cool down in the water after the hike. After a yummy spaghetti dinner, we sat down in a circle and shared our favorite memories of camp this year. As we shared our story we tied yarn around our wrists and created a web that inter-connected our memories.
After our evening program, we roasted marshmallows and made yummy s’
mores! Taylor Wachman and Alan Goodis surprised the campers and played camp-fire songs before we sent the kids off to bed. In the morning, we spent our time eating breakfast and playing card games. Once the bus arrived, we were off to our hiking spot!
We arrived at Fay Canyon and hiked the red rocks of Sedona and saw gorgeous views of the nature around us. After the hike we had lunch and headed back to camp. The campers had such an amazing time on this overnight and got to make more memories and bond with everyone in our unit.
