The ever popular camp program of pairing up LTPers (9th and 10th graders) with the Rishonim (2nd-4th graders) is back in action this session. The LTP campers really get into this program as they act as big brothers/sisters for their buddies, sit with them during T’filah and Shabbat meals and hang out with them during all camp programs throughout the session.
This session’s kick-off to the Buddy Program had LTPers and Rishonim gather in the Dining Hall, where they sat together and made “puppy chow” a delicious sweet and tasty snack. They also played “Get to know you” games, as they started to build friendships that will certainly last a lifetime. In fact, some current counselors have campers in their cabins who used to be their buddies!
In the coming days and weeks, buddies will spend time together at all camp programs like Casino Night and Mission Impossible, and obviously will hang out together during Shabbat!
